gotta love the internet. since the cool kids and mickey factz, hipster rap is everywhere, and it seems kinda hipster-rappish to leak free mixtapes on the net that are outstanding good! so, new kid on the blog, FKI enters the arena. never heard of dude until jan over at neohipster recommended it. and it's awesome! minimalistic, slow ridden beats based on electro smashes from all over the world meet fashion talk and hysterical zoolander samples all over the damn tape. there's even a track that samples "genesis" by justice. check it out, and next year, tell everyone you knew about him first, "in the demo days". equals instant awesomeness.
